Our Story: From Packaging to Board Game Manufacturing
The story of Sunday Games began in 2001 with a small team and a simple ambition: to make products people would be proud to put on the table. What started with premium packaging gradually grew into complete board game manufacturing, covering cards, game boards, punchboards, wooden pieces, plastic components and miniatures. Over the years, that same attention to detail has remained at the heart of how we work with publishers around the world.
Today, we support publishers through the complete production journey—from DFM consultation and artwork checking to sampling, mass production, quality inspection and international shipping. By combining in-house manufacturing expertise with a carefully managed supply network, we help our partners balance quality, cost, safety and production efficiency throughout every project.

Our Journey from Packaging to Complete Game Production
2001 — Where It Started
Sunday Games came to life in November 2001 with a team of just six people and a 500-square-meter production space. In those early days, our focus was packaging—games, cards and boards had not yet become part of our offering. Those first years gave us the production discipline and packaging expertise that would later become the foundation of our board game business.
2003 — Moving into Premium Packaging
In 2003, we expanded into premium rigid packaging, strengthening our capabilities in materials, structure, finishing and assembly. This step allowed us to serve more demanding projects and laid the groundwork for our later move into complete board game production.
2007 — Entering Board Game Manufacturing
2007 marked a major turning point for Sunday Games as we officially expanded into board game manufacturing. After gaining recognition from game publishers, we moved beyond packaging and introduced dedicated production for game boards and cards—beginning the transition toward the complete manufacturing services we provide today.
2011 — Expanding Printing & Production Capacity
In 2011, we expanded our printing and production capabilities through Rong Hui Printing Company. The additional capacity strengthened our control over printing, scheduling and quality, while giving us greater flexibility to support both domestic and international board game projects.
2018 — Beyond Paper Components
In 2018, Sunday Games became a shareholder in a miniature model factory, expanding our capabilities beyond printed and paper-based components. This gave us greater access to custom plastic pieces, detailed miniatures and molded components, bringing us another step closer to offering complete board game manufacturing under one coordinated production system.
2022 — Building a Global Presence
In 2022, we established a dedicated international business team and introduced the Sunday Games name for global markets. This marked a new chapter in our growth, allowing us to work more closely with publishers around the world and build a clearer international identity around our manufacturing experience.
Today — Built for Complete Board Game Production
Today, Sunday Games combines more than two decades of manufacturing experience with production capabilities covering printed components, boxes, wooden pieces, plastic components and miniatures. Our team supports publishers from early production planning through sampling, mass production, inspection and global delivery—bringing multiple manufacturing processes together through one coordinated project team.
